What is Community Solar? Community Solar is a utility program that saves residences and businesses on their electric bills by subscribing to get a portion of their energy from a local community solar system.
How does it work? You will receive a discount on your capacity allocation from the energy produced by an Ecogy Energy community solar system. You cannot subscribe to more than one community solar system or subscribe if you already have solar on your home.
Ecogy’s Role? We sign you up to purchase energy from one of our local community solar systems and coordinate your subscription with the utility.
Ecogy has several new projects that will become operational throughout 2023 and will be subscribing over 500 residents and businesses in the ConEdison service area.
